I hardly slept at all last night. Maybe I shouldn't have watched "2012" before I went to bed. Or eaten so many raisins. The movie was positively ridiculous and formulaic, but there were some very funny moments amidst the mayhem and destruction, and I quite liked the special effects. Woody Harrelson's character was a scream, and who can resist John Cusack?

Am preparing for an indoor tag sale tomorrow at one of the local churches in hopes of unloading a bunch of my stuff. Whatever I don't sell will go directly to the Goodwill. I'm proud of myself for getting this altogether. Even if I don't make any money, at least I have gone thru some things and will get it out of the house. And I'm trying to sell some items on Craig's List (which is partially owned by Ebay now, did you know?). I feel very unattached to most of my possessions, which is a good thing.

Spring is finally here and we've had some very warm days. Crocuses are in bloom, I've got daffodils in bud, and the tulips are way up. Tomorrow night is the community garden potluck supper, and it was my idea to get some of the talented gardeners to provide some entertainment. So we'll have music, art, and poetry. I'll be exhausted after the tag sale, but the dinner is early so hopefully it won't be a late night.

These rock photos were taken in Clinton, CT, when I visited a friend last Sunday. It was a doggie date for Bindi and Kia, but all Bindi did was growl at Kia, who is a big puppie. Bindi prefers littler dogs these days, like Roscoe, the Yorkie, across the street. But this landscape was impressive, and I thought of Ezri who likes to climb.
